American Apparel Returns & Exchanges

For any order where a Groupon voucher is applied, entire purchase is returnable for store credit only. Online orders returnable only to online store. Retail purchases returnable only to retail stores. Items washed, worn, or damaged by the customer may not be returned or exchanged. Final sale items may not be returned or exchanged. Exchanges will only be honored once for the original purchase. Exchange or Returns must be made within 45 days of the original invoice date. Online credit for exchange or return order must be used in a single transaction. All exchanges/returns must be accompanied by a completed exchange/return form. Otherwise, there may be a delay with processing the exchange. Exchanges applicable for different size or color only, except in the case of damages. Any remaining balance will be considered forfeited by the customer. Customer is responsible for freight for returned merchandise. When returning items we recommend using a shipping carrier/method which provides a tracking number as we are not responsible for packages that are lost during transit.
